While current figures have not been publicly disclosed, SlamBall offered players $500 a week during training, and $1,500 per week in its first season, according to this AskMen article.

SlamBall is a team sport comprised of a mash-up of the best elements and strategies from basketball, football and hockey with elements of gymnastics and the mentality of video game sports blended in.

Each SlamBall team plays four players at any given time. The roster holds eight active players that sub in on the fly, like in ice hockey.

In order to play professional SlamBall, you must be at least 18 years old. They've had kids as young as 10 years old play on full-size courts and were able to make plays.

SlamBall is operating license agreements in 14 countries and counting.
