Lonzo Ball's first signature shoes called “ZO2: Prime,” produced by his father LaVar’s Big Baller Brand, are up for sale on the Big Baller Brand website for $495.
Big Baller Brand is also selling ZO2 flip-flops for $220 and an autographed version of the ZO2 shoes for $995.
The launch comes just a week after Nike, Adidas and Under Armour had all refused to sign Ball to endorsement deals.
LaVar, who believes his three sons should sign a shoe deal worth $1 billion, had reportedly been trying to get the footwear giants to license Big Baller Brand.
About 500 pairs of the three models of shoes and sandals were ordered in the first week and the company’s first week of footwear sales grossed more than $290,000, according to the inventory data.
Talking to Fox Sports, LaVar Ball explains why Lonzo Ball’s $495 shoe costs so much.
