How come Lisa and Mia did not return for this seasons of Ice Road Truckers?

The History Channel hasn’t revealed why Lisa Kelly or Maya Sieber didn’t return for Season 6 of Ice Road Truckers (IRT), which premiered on June 3, 2012.

Unconfirmed rumors have been circulating online that Lisa had been experiencing headaches that were interfering with her driving. In a recent interview, Lisa said she was “less than happy" about the edited version of the show that is aired. She also said she is "as real as she can be" on the reality show.

Maya shared via her Facebook account that she never received a reason for not being invited to appear on Season 6. She also said probably she wouldn’t have returned if she had been asked.

Lisa was on Ice Road Truckers (IRT) from Season 3 to Season 5 and starred on the spin-off, Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads in its first two seasons. Maya Sieber joined the Ice Road Truckers (IRT) in Season 5 as a second female driver.
