How big is the swimming pool at the biltmore estate? (Deep and wide)

While the size (depth and width) of the indoor pool at Biltmore Estate is not reported, one known fact about it is that it can hold up to 70,000 gallons of water (265 cubic meter).

In 1889, George Vanderbilt purchased 125,000 acres in the western North Carolina woodlands and commissioned the construction of the Biltmore Estate. It is located just outside Asheville, roughly four miles north of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The estate's features include an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and bowling alley on the basement It also has a Library with 10,000 volumes, a Banquet Hall with a 70-foot ceiling, and 65 fireplaces. The house's rooms include 34 bedrooms and 43 bathrooms.

Biltmore Estate is considered as America's largest private home, with the Vanderbilt family still residing within the estate, and opening their home to the public every day throughout the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
