Sadly, former professional wrestler Chyna, born Joan Marie Laurer, who appeared in the VH1 reality TV shows "The Surreal Life" and "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," was found dead Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in a Redondo Beach, California, apartment.
Her manager confirmed the news on her Twitter page.
It said: "It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero," said a message. "She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her."

Chyna stormed onto WWE wrestling scene in 1997. She will be remembered as one of the most successful female wrestlers of all time.
In 1999 she competed at the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring. She was also the first woman to be considered the number one contender to the WWF Championship.
