There is no news that Mark Hamill has Alzheimer’s disease.
Already in his sixties, Mark Hamill has gone through a healthy diet in 2015 to reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Awakens, and reportedly lost 50 lbs.
Mark Hamill majored in drama at Los Angeles City College and made his acting debut on The Bill Cosby Show in 1970. Aside from his role in Star Wars, Mark Hamill is well known as the voice actor for the Joker for more than a decade, starting with Batman the Animated Series in 1992.
