Can I assemble "pigs in a blanket", and then freeze them until I need to cook them?

According to Marthastewart.com, pigs in blankets can be frozen until firm, then stored in freezer bags up to one month ahead.

Anecdotal sources suggest that a few hours like 4 hours max will be fine, while others don’t recommend it freezing raw as they won’t rise properly. If you want to freeze them they should be baked and then cooled down completely at room temperature. You can put them inside a zip lock bag (freezer friendly bag) then get much air as possible and seal it real tight, then stick them in your freezer. To defrost them just leave them at room temperature.
