Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds (played by Kaitlin Olson) and the Waitress (played by Mary Elizabeth Ellis) are not related.

Mary Elizabeth Ellis was born on May 11, 2024 in Laurel, Mississippi. She is married to Charlie Day.
Day’s character maybe stalking the Waitress relentlessly but he’s actually married to her (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) in real life. They started dating before It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia started and got married in 2006. They have a son together named Frank Russell.
Mac (Rob McElhenney) and Dee would seem like they would be a very odd couple based on the show, but they are married in real life too. They actually met when Mac interview her (Kaitlin Olson) for the role of Dee. They got married in 2008 and have two sons.
