When is the new upcoming Friday movie: last Friday coming out

Though Ice Cube has stated several times that he intends to make a fourth Friday movie, no exact details are known about a release date. Ice Cube announced in November 2011 that he wanted to make another sequel in the Friday series, which will be titled Last Friday. He stated in March of 2012 that he was working on writing the script. Based on how long it usually takes to cast, plan, film, and produce a movie, it's likely the film will come out in 2013 or 2014, but it could possibly be released even later. It almost certainly won't be released in 2012.

In May 2012, he confirmed that there will definitely be another Friday movie and that it's very likely that Chris Tucker will come back to play Smokey. He has also said that he wants John Witherspoon to come back to play his character's father. It will very likely be the last Friday movie.

The previous film in the series was Friday After Next, which came out on November 22, 2023 and took place around Christmas.
