Whats a boyfriend?!

The word boyfriend refers to the male companion of a girl, woman, or even another man usually involved in a romantic and/or intimate relationship.

While the term usually denotes some form of commitment, the boyfriend is usually expected to be in a relationship with only a single person at a time until they dissolve the relationship; it is less of a commitment than a marriage. Sometimes couples that are not married may refer to the other person in the relationship as their "significant other," rather than boyfriend or girlfriend.

Traits the general public like to see in a boyfriend include: makes you laugh, treats you well, gives you his coat when you're cold, forgives you, takes you to meet his parents and more!

On September 28, 2012, BBC Radio reported that actor Johnny Lewis (best known for his portrayal of Half Sack in the TV Dramas Sons of Anarchy, and Dennis 'Chili' Childress on The O.C.), ex-boyfriend of Katy Perry either fell or jumped to his death after allegedly killing his landlord.
