"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" had a sequel called "Shock Treatment", released as a film in 1981 and featured many of the same actors and songs of similar genre.
In 2015, "Shock Treatment" which failed to get a theatrical release and remains little known even to some Rocky Horror fans, has gone back to Rocky Horror's roots and was staged as a play for the very first time at the King's Head Theatre in London.
“Shock Treatment” is not to be confused with the 1964 film of the same name with Lauren Bacall and Stuart Whitman, which also has a mental facility as a key setting.
