The 2003 film "Radio" is about a mentally-challenged man named James Robert Kennedy, nicknamed 'Radio' (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.) because of his vintage radio collection and his love of music. Coach Harold Jones, one of the town's most respected men, and coach of the popular high school football team, befriends him.
He became a student at T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson, South Carolina. Their friendship extends over several decades, where Radio changes from a shy, tormented man into an inspiration to his community.
While chess may be just a game, in "Life of a King" (story of a real-life ex-con Eugene Brown - played by Cuba Gooding Jr.) it actually saves some lives, too. Find out more at Entertainment Weekly.
