What is normal blood sugar?

Not medical advice: Normal blood sugar levels are different for a fasting person and a non-fasting person. The normal blood sugar level for a fasting person is usually around 90 milligrams per deciliter.

If you are not fasting, blood sugar levels are normally 120 milligrams per deciliter 1-2 hours after a meal, and a little under 100 two hours after eating. These numbers can be just a bit higher or lower, but these are the normal ranges.

Research now shows that beans are good for helping to control blood pressure and are also said to help with reducing heart risks for those with diabetes.
