What does snafu mean in texting language

The most popular meaning of the acronym SNAFU in text-based communication is "Situation Normal, All Fouled (F*cked) Up".

A bit of a trivia, the world's first text message was sent from a computer to a cellphone by British engineer, Neil Papworth. As reported by CTV News, Papworth sent the text message to his boss on December 03, 1992. It read: "Merry Christmas" and this single text message revolutionized the way we communicate.

With the popularity of text-based communications, such as mobile phone text messaging (SMS), Facebook, Twitter, instant messaging, email, Internet and online gaming services, chat rooms and discussion boards, came the emergence of a new text language tailored to the immediacy and compactness of these new communication media.
