What advice does Malcolm give Macduff

In Macbeth, a play written by WIlliam Shakespeare, Macduff blames himself for what happened to his family, but Malcolm recommends that Macduff take his own advice and get his feelings out by murdering rather than weeping.

Malcolm words to Macduff:

"Be this the whetstone of your sword: let grief convert to anger; blunt not the heart, enrage it".

Shakespeare’s shortest and bloodiest tragedy, Macbeth tells the story of a brave Scottish general (Macbeth) who receives a prophecy from a trio of sinister witches that one day he will become King of Scotland.

Set mainly in Scotland, the play dramatises the damaging physical and psychological effects of political ambition on those who seek power for its own sake.
