Drake income in Degrassi is unpublished. However, according to USMagazine.com, in an interview with Complex Music, the actor turned rapper said he took the job on Degrassi to help out his struggling family.
"My mother was very sick. We were poor, like broke," Drizzy explained. "The only money I had coming in was off of Canadian TV, which isn't that much money when you break it down. A season of Canadian television is under a teacher's salary..."
