The Long Beach Post reported that, on its way to its final resting place at Los Angeles' California Science Center in Exposition Park, the Space Shuttle Endeavor will be flown low over Long Beach sometime between 11:30am and 1pm on Friday, September 21st, 2012. Recently retired as part of NASA's dismantling of the space shuttle program, the shuttle is being flown at altitudes as low as 1500 feet around several cities in California.
