However, according to TechInAsia.com, the Firefall-themed bus, Red 5 Studios' mobile video game demo bus created by West Coast Customs, now “sits in a warehouse somewhere, collecting dust.”
The project that was meant to serve as a mobile promotional tool and a mobile server from which to host competitions via LAN while the game was still in beta, was viewed to be a complete disaster.
The customized bus costing an estimated $3 million for construction, missed premieres at all the major conferences.
In a separate Reddit thread, former Red5 CEO Mark Kern admits himself: “The bus was terrible.”
